Horseshoe Crabs inspire me and my wish is for them to inspire the next generations of earth too. They have survived mass extinction events that killed the dinosaurs only to be close to being wiped out by human made causes, this is why I will be donating 3% of what I will be funding here to the Tampa Bay Watch nonprofit, to help horseshoe crab populations in my home state of Florida thrive.

Hi everyone!!

With 1 week to go and some cancelled pledges setting us back we are once again so close to unlocking the Devonian period patch with only $119 to go! Then next to unlock at $2,400 is the free glow in the dark sticker for ALL backers! For the unlockable after that at $2,700 I was wondering since backers are tending to only get 1 or 2 patches maybe the whole set isn't as appealing as I previously thought- so I will launch a poll for the next unlockable. To do another patch design (voted on period and creatures) or the all over print denim bucket hat I thought would be cute to iron the patches onto. Let me know if there is something I did not think of you would like to see as well! I will be posting a poll later tonight for voting on this! Keep and eye out!

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to the super league of Science and BackerKit for letting me apart of this and all of the help I received, it really feels like a community here. Everyone had such fun ideas for the science theme, check them out if you haven't!

Now some exciting news-we unlocked the Ordovician patch! Here is how the timeline is looking so far once Devonian featuring the Tiktaalik, the link between fish and land animal; is unlocked! We are so close!

The last 5 periods! I will create a poll after the next unlock so that there can be voting on which todo next! 
-Quaternary, I had actually started the Quaternary art but never finished it. But the order will still be voted on with the art.

-Jurassic, my only request is it features a flying dinosaur, but please suggest which ones you would like to see!

Thank you so much for the support only 2 days in! We have unlocked both Carboniferous and Triassic period designs today!!! The next design will be unlocked when we reach $1900!

Hi everyone,

Thank you for the warm welcome to BackerKit!

I am blown away, in less than 3 hours in we got fully funded and now another design has been UNLOCKED, the Eocene period! This patch features the 'Dawn Horse' or Hyracotherium. It lived around 50 Million years ago and became what we know as the modern Horse today, in the background a group of Horseshoe Crabs gathers under a shining moon as they have for millions of years. Next patch to unlock is the Carboniferous design at $1300!
